School of Medicine students, get your vaccinations right here on campus!
Are you starting a School of Medicine course in Semester 1? Congratulations and welcome to Deakin!
One important task to get out of the way early is your vaccinations, which medical and medical imaging students must have before starting their course.
To make your life easier, you can get the full suite of shots done right here on campus at a Deakin Medical Centre.
All campus nurses are accredited nurse vaccinators and know exactly which vaccinations you’ll need for your particular course. This can sometimes be complicated, so getting it done on-campus will make this part of your preparation hassle-free!
When do I need to be vaccinated by?
- If you’re studying a Doctor of Medicine (H911), you must be vaccinated by Tuesday 28 January 2020.
- If you’re studying a Bachelor of Medical Imaging (H309), you must be vaccinated by Friday 13 March 2020.
Book an appointment now to make sure you meet the deadline.
How much do the vaccinations cost?
Deakin Medical Centres offer student-friendly prices and bulk-billing, so the only thing you’ll have to pay for is the vaccines themselves. This price list outlines approximate costs, but be aware that costs are subject to change, so please discuss this with your nurse before you proceed.
You should also download the School of Medicine Vaccination and Blood Test Checklist and bring it to your appointment.
