The end of the year is fast-approaching – can you believe it’s nearly Christmas? But before the festive season takes over, make sure you’ve got your accommodation sorted for 2020.

There’s still time to apply to live on campus in Trimester 1, but spots are filling up so you’ll need to get in fast to secure your place.

There’s so many reasons to choose on-campus accommodation – from the convenience and awesome facilities to the instant and lifelong friendships, you’ll love every second of your time on Res.

An amazing lifestyle

Our annual Deakin Residential Services survey highlighted how much our residents gain from being on campus – 91% say that living on Res has met or exceeded their expectations, and 80% would recommend it to a friend.

Security is a huge benefit – 94% feel safe in their environment, while satisfaction with our Residential Leaders, who help to set the standards and provide a source of leadership and guidance, has increased significantly in 2019, particularly in the area of helping students with issues.

If you want to broaden your horizons and meet people from across the globe, then Res is the place to be, with a great mix of domestic (60%) and international (40%) students. Amazingly, 90% think that living on campus has had a positive experience on their learning experience and, for the first time, 100% of students surveyed were aware of the RESPECT values, which underpin the entire residential community.

Options aplenty

There’s a range of accommodation options on each campus, with a great mix of state-of-the-art contemporary student housing and traditional village living, single- and mixed-gender options, studio and shared configurations, amazing communal facilities, and different lease lengths and pricing.

Still not convinced? Join Res students Anna, Warda and Ed on a guided tour of Brougham House at our beautiful Geelong Waterfront Campus to see the awesome facilities and fun that awaits you on campus!
