Are you interested working in an Indigenous organisation? The Aurora Project Internship Program places interns in Indigenous organisations Australia-wide and applications are now open.

If you’re a law, anthropology or social sciences student with an interest in native title, land rights, social justice and policy development, we encourage you to apply. You’ll be offering under-resourced organisations assistance and support while also gaining practical experience and a ‘foot in the door’ to career opportunities in the sector.

The Program has a transformative impact on the organisations it supports, and as an Aurora alum, you’ll get access to continuing support with your career including access to paid placements and job opportunities.

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students will also receive Commonwealth funding of $750 per week to cover living expenses while on placement. You can read more about applying as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student here.

Applications close on Friday 31 August 2018. Submit your application online via the Aurora Project website.
