A scholarship can help relieve some of the financial pressure you face when studying, as well as providing a motivational boost. Deakin has hundreds of scholarships funded by the University, the government and donors. Benefits vary but can include discounts on tuition fees, funding for specific items and cash payments.

When is the application period?
Applications open on Wednesday 6 June 2018 and close at 5pm on Wednesday 11 July 2018.
Am I eligible to apply for a scholarship?
Deakin scholarships cover a range of student types and backgrounds – there are scholarships for undergrads and postgrads, new and continuing students, high achievers and students struggling with their circumstances. Visit the Find a Scholarship webpage and put in your details to view a list of the scholarships you may be eligible for.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Once you’re ready to apply, visit the Deakin Course and Scholarships Applicant Portal.
My marks are good but not great – should I still apply?
Some scholarships are based on academic merit but others take into account your personal circumstances or career aspirations. Make sure you read the scholarship criteria carefully and if it’s a good fit, why not give it a go?
