Deakin University Library is the heart of the University, with four campus Libraries and a presence in the Cloud. We have a vast array of online and print resources to assist you with your studies, spaces for being with friends or by yourself, and friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to help.
New year, new challenges! The Library is looking forward to helping you with your student journey and with achieving your dreams. We’re here to help – can’t wait to meet you all (in person or online!)
Missed our Orientation sessions? Never fear! You can now Discover the Library at leisure. If you’d like a tour, just ask our friendly service desk staff at any of our campus libraries. They’ll be happy to show you around.
Looking for a space to study with friends? Each of our campus libraries has group study rooms available to book for 2 hours at a time. They’re comfortable, and each room has a computer and shared display. Most also have whiteboards so that you can scribble your ideas to your heart’s content. At Burwood, you can also book individual computers or booths. Make your bookings online.
When the clock chimes midnight, there’s still help available. From the beginning of Trimester 1, our chat service will operate 24/5. 24/5? From 11pm from Monday to Friday, our chat service will be staffed across 24 hours so that advice is available when inspiration strikes you at any time of day or night.
And if you’re looking for pre-dawn space, the Waterfront Library is open 24 hours a day and the learning spaces at the front of Waurn Ponds Library are also 24/7.
