Breaking news: as a Deakin student, you can now get unlimited access to the latest news through a free digital subscription to online publications the Australian and the Geelong Advertiser!

Valid until Tuesday 19 February 2019, the subscription covers desktop and mobile content for both newspapers, as well as access to the News+ network including heraldsun.com.au, dailytelegraph.com.au, and a diverse range of other news websites.

In our globalised and digitised world, it’s important to stay up-to-date with current events. This subscription makes it easy to learn the latest from a range of sources (for free!).

How to sign up

1. Go to the Deakin Library News Ltd. Subscriptions web page
2. Read over the Terms and Conditions and agree to them
3. Click the Subscribe button and follow the News Ltd. prompts
4. You’re ready to start reading!

To find out more, go to the FAQs page. Please note that your initial subscription will be to the Geelong Advertiser website. Once subscribed there, you are able to access the Australian website with the same credentials. No additional registration is required.

The opportunity is an initiative led by the Deakin Library, who are continually developing ways to support students and staff with access to information.
