Our fantastic cooking classes are on again this trimester. Learn how to cook simple, nutritious meals, prepare ingredients, maintain good food hygiene and improve your health.
If you lack confidence in the kitchen and think that cooking is difficult, expensive and time-consuming, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Cooking for yourself is actually simple, fast and cheap. It’s also a great way to unwind after a busy day, and it’s an essential skill for looking after yourself and staying healthy. And, who knows: you might find yourself hosting a dinner party for your friends and family so you can show off your delicious creations.
Two tutors from the Faculty of Health are running the program at the Food Lab, Burwood Campus. It starts on Monday 13 November and runs for five weeks from 4–5:30pm.
It’s suitable for people who have never cooked before, who are beginners in the kitchen or who want to learn some new recipes and make some new friends.
