For Deakin alumnus Henry Frayne, his Olympic debut and graduation, took place in the same year. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce and participated at the London Olympic Games in 2012. Set to compete in his second Olympic Games, Henry has had a plenty of amazing achievements since 2012. He is also the first Australian athlete to have compete at both long jump and triple jump events at the Olympics in over fifty years.  A very impressive accomplishment.

His long jump mark of 8.16m at the Australian Championships in 2016, gained him qualified for Rio. And he has set himself the goal of 16.85m for the triple jump event.

Deakin wishes Henry the very best for Rio.
