There are just a ridiculous amount of opportunities for students to get involved in and out of university degrees at Deakin. All the excellent professors and teachers I had the pleasure of knowing have been warm and supportive and helpful and also incredibly good at delivering information.
Studies have been a great mix of practical and theoretical learning with the degree building towards more and more practical classes. There’s an Arts internship which is a must for all creative arts studies. In addition there is study trips to Japan and great clubs that offer opportunities to network with other creatives.
There are specialist facilities like the television production studio, editing suites (which are incredible), Film gear, Costume house, Theatre rooms, and Film processing and dark rooms.
