For details on the advertised positions click here.

The criminology team at Deakin has undergone considerable expansion in the past 5 years. The team has grown substantially in numbers with three new lecturers in criminology – Dr Wendy O’Brien, Dr Adam Molnar and Dr Diarmaid Harkin – beginning in 2014.

Criminology is offered as a major in the Bachelor of Arts, as a stand-alone Bachelor of Criminology, and also as a double degree with Law, Forensic Science, Psychological Science and Information Technology (Security). Each of these courses, with the exception of the Criminology/Forensic Science double degree, are offered at both the Geelong (Waurn Ponds and Waterfront) and Melbourne (Burwood) campuses.

Several members of the Deakin criminology team also belong to the University Strategic Research Centre for Citizenship and Globalisation in the thematic research group Crime, Surveillance, Security and Justice.

Applications for both positions close at 11:59pm on 18th January 2015.

For more information or queries contact Associate Professor Darren Palmer (email: [email protected]/ph: 03 5227 2283).
