Senior Lecturer in Criminology opportunities at Deakin (two positions)

The Criminology team at Deakin are expanding!

Deakin University is currently advertising 2 x Senior Lecturer in Criminology positions, one at the Melbourne Burwood campus (Job ID Number 170877) and the other at the Geelong Waurn Ponds campus (Job ID Number 170878). For details on the advertised positions, click here.

The criminology team at Deakin has undergone considerable expansion in the past 5 years. Criminology is offered as a major in the Bachelor of Arts, as a stand-alone Bachelor of Criminology, and combined degrees with Law, Forensic Science, Psychological Science and Information Technology (Cyber-Security). Each of these courses, with the exception of the Criminology/Forensic Science double degree, are offered at the Waurn Ponds, Geelong Waterfront and Melbourne (Burwood) campuses.

In addition to the general theme of surveillance we are particularly interested in applicants who have expertise in:

  • policing,
  • cybercrime, and/or
  • environmental crime.
