Dr Diarmaid Harkin has been presenting the findings of his recently published book, Private Security and Domestic Violence: The Risks and Benefits of Private Security Companies Working with Victims of Domestic Violence, at a number of events. This included a presentation at the European Conference on Domestic Violence in Oslo (Tuesday 3rd September), the University of Glasgow (Thursday 5th September), and the University of Bristol’s Centre for Gender and Violence Research (Tuesday 10th September). Dr Harkin will also present at the upcoming European Society of Criminology Conference in Ghent, Belgium (Thursday 19th September).
