Darren Palmer interviewed on ‘Police Guidelines – When should police shoot?’
Deakin criminologist Associate Prof Darren Palmer was interviewed yesterday morning on Radio 3, RTHK. Darren was invited to be a guest on a panel discussing the police use of force in Hong Kong following a recent controversial fatal police shooting in Lam Tin. The panel questioned at what points firearms should be used by police and when a warning shot by police is appropriate.
The panel also included guests from the USA and Hong Kong.
