Top 3 posts: What have you been reading on our blog?

As we power into 2026, we were looking at our blog statistics to see what was popular over the last year. It would seem that GenAI is the subject that garners the most interest. No surprise there, we’re sure.

Our three most popular posts last year all involved GenAI and gathered more than 500 views (excluding posts about upcoming seminars or opportunities). All three posts relate to practical guides or principles around managing the challenge of AI and higher education.

Number 1

Guide to GenAI in Work-integrated Learning

Number 2

CRADLE suggests… Feedback & GenAI

Manifesto for feedback in the age of GenAI

It seems that there is a thirst for practical, simple, and easy to use guides for GenAI. Rest assured that we’ll keep wrestling with the challenge of GenAI, with a focus on distilling the issues down to something educators can use in the classroom or education design stage.

What’s our most popular post ever?

Our most popular post of all time, by far, is Liz Johnson, Helen Partridge and Phillip Dawson’s essay on the use of the exam hall in a digital world – 1,300 years is long enough: it’s pens down for the exam hall.

First published in 2023 it still gets a lot of attention and three years later still features in our weekly views.
