Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from CRADLE

Well, it’s been another pandemic challenged year for us all. However, despite four lockdowns and the uncertainty of working location, it feels like 2021 sailed by with (new) relative normalcy. Maybe it’s a result of been-there-done-that. In any case we’ve embraced a world of digital dependence and we’ve flown with that! This is a reminder that the world is more connected than ever, and the opportunities afforded by this are exciting for our research at CRADLE.

It’s also been a tremendously successful period dominated by a variety of entertaining and insightful research activities; rich international and domestic research collaborations; and significant outputs. Recognition of research success was reported by The Australian’s Research Magazine 2021 whereby CRADLE Director Alfred Deakin Professor David Boud and CRADLE Researcher Associate Professor Rola Ajjawi were named as researchers leading the field both in Australia and globally. CRADLE staff and students have been part of many achievements this year and we look forward to providing a review of the work in early 2022.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended our public events and engaged in meaningful, thought-provoking discussions. We look forward to seeing you again, hopefully face-to-face, in an exciting 2022.

Happy holidays from all at CRADLE!
