CRADLE PhD opportunities for domestic and international students

We’re excited to announce that applications for two new PhD scholarships with CRADLE are now open. If you’re interested in assessment and digital learning, come and study with us at CRADLE!

Applications are now open and close Thursday 28 November.*

The first scholarship is available to both domestic and international students on the topic of ‘learning in data-intensive clinical environments‘ and is a cotutelle project with the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The candidate will be jointly supervised by researchers from Deakin University and the University of Copenhagen, and will graduate with a joint PhD from both institutions. It is anticipated that the candidate will be available to spend at least six months across the candidature at the University of Copenhagen. You can find more information about this scholarship here. The second scholarship is available to domestic students only. The successful candidate will work on a project that aligns with one or more of CRADLE’s research program areas, as outlined in the Project Aims section of the information page. A broad range of topics concerning assessment and digital learning are available, include developing evaluative judgement, feedback and the educational alliance, and inclusive assessment. The candidate will be based at CRADLE’s vibrant Melbourne CBD location, Deakin Downtown, and will have the chance to work with our team of leading higher education researchers: Prof. David Boud, A/Prof. Phillip Dawson, A/Prof. Margaret BearmanA/Prof. Rola Ajjawi, and Dr. Joanna Tai.
