CRADLE Fellowships for Deakin staff are now open
19 September 2019
The 2019 round of CRADLE Fellowship applications is now open! If you’re a Deakin staff member interested in researching assessment in higher education, don’t miss this opportunity to undertake up to 12 months’ research with the support and mentorship of CRADLE’s leading higher education researchers.
CRADLE welcomes applications from postdoctoral researchers at every career stage, from early career to senior scholars. Applicants must be a current Deakin staff member, and must be able to demonstrate the relevance of their proposed research to CRADLE’s current research activities or interests. Our current programs of research include: academic progress and integrity; assessment design (including self/peer, authentic, and programmatic); feedback and feedback literacy; and assessment in a digital world.
CRADLE Fellowships offer funding on $15,000 to support each Fellow’s research program. It is anticipated that this funding will be used for research costs (e.g. research assistance or transcription), professional development (e.g. methodological training), and dissemination (e.g. conference attendance). In some circumstances, and upon application to CRADLE, buying out teaching time may be considered. To be clear, the CRADLE Fellowship is not a job, and carries no remuneration.
For more information about CRADLE Fellowships, eligibility criteria, the benefits of becoming a CRADLE Fellow, and the online application form, please visit the CRADLE website.

Applications close 8 October 2019, so don’t miss out!
