Try our free guide to GenAI in Work-Integrated Learning

We are absolutely delighted to share with you a new guide, developed by CRADLE members and colleagues who attended the 2024 CRADLE Symposium on Generative Artificial Intelligence and Work-Integrated Learning. The guide is intended to support students, university WIL practitioners and educators, and industry or community partners who host students for WIL experiences, in navigating the tricky and ever-evolving landscape of GenAI use across learning and professional work. 

CRADLE is a top contributor to feedback literacy research

A recent bibliometric analysis of the term "feedback literacy" from 2012–2024 by X Liang et al. was undertaken using data collected from Scopus. The article highlighted David Carless and David Boud as the dominant global authors, with CRADLE and Deakin University ranking at the top with The University of Hong Kong. CRADLE authors, Fellows and our extensive network of global collaborators have a significant impact on feedback literacy.

Feedback can be one of the most powerful pedagogies we have in education, but its effects are dependent on what students do. In 2019, we set out to develop an instrument to study exactly that: the Feedback Literacy Behaviour Scale (FLBS). Well, it's finally published and you can read it here.
