Faezeh is a Doctoral Researcher in the Institute of Frontier Materials (IFM) at Deakin University. Her research is focused on looking at energy systems such as the electrolyte systems of batteries.
The implications for her research are important in their focus on renewable clean energy and how energy can be stored more effectively from wind turbines or solar cells. In particular Faezeh is interested in using sodium batteries as a safer and cheaper alternative to using lithium batteries which are volatile, flammable and expensive.
