Working Paper Series

Contemporary Histories Research Group invites Working Papers

The Working Papers series is designed to ‘air’ work that is currently underway and undergoing further thinking and refining. The papers are generally of no more than 3,500 words and can be based on members’ recent seminar/conference papers, first thoughts envisaging longer pieces intended for journals, extended versions of opinion pieces written for media and wider audiences, or ‘kite-flying’ exercises desiring feedback.

The Working Papers are scholarly but with a light touch. They are reviewed by two members of the CHRG group prior to posting; and we welcome considered commentary on them.

Enquiries and submissions are to be sent to Professor David Lowe or Dr Tony Joel.
