Can I add non-Deakin people as Contributors to my blog?

Yes, however for security reasons even blog Administrators cannot do this.

We can add external (non-Deakin) people as Contributors to your blog if you log a call with the IT Service Desk and provide;

• The external person’s full name and affiliation (such as their institution) so we can verify their identify
• The external person’s email address

When we add the external person as a Contributor to your blog, they will receive an email indicating that they can Contribute.

NOTE: Posts authored by Contributors by default will still need to be approved by you as an Administrator. You are able to change the external person’s role to Editor in the WordPress administration interface if you prefer.
