3 Minute Thesis Competition 2022

We are pleased to announce the Faculty heat for the 2022 3MT.

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a global academic competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.

Each competitor in the Business and Law 3MT will receive $100, with additional prizes of $200 for the Finalist, $100 for the Runner Up, and $100 for the People’s Choice.

Faculty finalists will also compete in the Deakin University final on Thursday 18 August, 2022.

HDR candidates interested in competing in the 3MT will need to read all details regarding eligibility, judging criteria, competition rules, and video presentation criteria.

A reminder that all competitors must be active PhD candidates and have successfully completed confirmation of candidature.

Remember, you only have 3 minutes to present your thesis in a video format, and only one static PowerPoint slide is allowed – no other props.
