New Training Module – HDR Respectful Behaviour

Deakin University has introduced a new training module for all students: Respectful Behaviour.

The module aims to foster a respectful, safe and inclusive learning and working environment for all students staff and visitors.

An extended version has been developed specifically for HDR students: ‘HDR Respectful Behaviour’. The HDR version is similar to the foundation module with the addition of a topic on supervisory relationships.

All HDR students who commence on or after 30 September 2020 must complete the HDR Respectful Behaviour module.

However, we encourage all current HDR students to complete the course. You’ll find the Respectful Behaviour (HDR Student) Module in the units section of Cloud DeakinIt is expected that the course will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to complete; completion will be recorded in your Individual Learning Plan.

Please Note: The module contains discussions of sexual harm, violence and homicide. It may trigger past trauma. If you require help or advice, please seek support through Deakin’s Safer Community Service or externally through 1800 Respect.

If you have any questions or feedback, or need help to complete the module please email us at [email protected].
