HDR Support and Conference Grants

HDR Candidates may apply for funds to present a paper at a conference and other research expenditures up to a maximum of $8,000 over the whole period of candidature.

The HDR Support Grant scheme provides assistance to HDR students with expenses relating to the conduct of their HDR research and completion of the thesis for examination.

The HDR Conference Grant scheme provides assistance to HDR students to present their thesis-related research at a recognized conference of national or international significance.

Funding is unlikely to be approved pre-confirmation, but there may be exceptions to this.

Students must prepare a Research Funds expenditure plan as part of the confirmation process.
