Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organisation for accounting, finance, and information students and professionals. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi’s formation.
Deakin University is the fourth university in Australia to host a Beta Alpha Psi Chapter, with the intent of becoming an official chapter in 2019.
Beta Alpha Psi is a premier international honour society for accounting, finance and information systems students and professionals.
The purpose of Beta Alpha Psi is to inspire and support excellence by:
- Recognising outstanding academic achievements in the field of accounting, finance and information systems;
- Providing opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing professionals; and
- Encouraging a sense of ethical, social and public responsibility.
