Development of Bilby Regional Hospital

The BBN is very proud to see the new hospital being built after a long series of negotiations with key stakeholders in Bilby. The final site is just out of town in a lovely location overlooking central Bilby.

Below left, is an Artist’s impression of the proposed entrance to the hospital.

Currently the BBN is working on the concept of developing a Pioneers Garden within the grounds of the new hospital, as a tribute to the early settlers of Bilby. There will be a design competition run by BBA to develop a garden design.
The two gardens shown above illustrate that lots of different styles will be considered. We are also looking for sponsorship for the garden, and we will be running a competition to provide a suitable name for the gardens when completed. There will also be the possibility of ongoing maintenance employment through a scheme for long-term unemployed.
