Wireless LAN Standards Update 05/2024
- Added the Meraki 9166 WAP (as per GIFT deployment)Add the Catalyst 9166D1 WAP (directional indoor)

Section 6 Performance Standards.
- Added the IEEE 802.11ac protocol.

- Changed required signal level in outdoor areas from -70 dB to -67 dB. Bring designated outdoor coverage areas in line with standard density locations.

- Specified that internal antenna WAP’s be ceiling mounted. More closely define installation methods.

- Added full part number for IW3702-2E-Z-k9 V03 access point. Weatherproof WAP for outdoor deployments.
