We are interviewing schools we have worked with (the Teaching Scholars from the schools who have hosted workshops – if they choose to participate).  We are also conducting interviews or focus group discussions with some of the students groups.  This data will then be analysed and we hope to publish some papers from it later this year.

Teaching Scholars have been invited to participate in future research.  If you were a Teaching Scholar and would like to participate please contact us asap.

Teaching Scholars are key teachers from our host schools.  They have agreed to continue to meet and develop ideas for practical activities and the critical engagement in science teaching.  This means that we will host monthly conversations (in an online format) and we will discuss what are the current issues and challenges in teaching science.  From these discussions we will plan to host a few more workshops later in the year.

This new project is called Investigating Laboratory Learning Activities (ILLA).
