A recent article by former ADI member Lorinda Cramer & Andrea Witcomb, ‘Remembering and Fighting for their Own: Vietnam Veterans and the Long Tan Cross’, AHS 49. 1 (2018), was shortlisted for the Australian Historical Studies Patricia Grimshaw Prize. The judging criterion was to select the article published in AHS over 2018 and 2019 that makes the most significant contribution to our understanding of Australian history.

Prof Fethi Mansouri wrote an article for UNESCO on the role of Intercultural Dialogue in community responses to the COVID-19 situation: The socio-cultural impact of COVID-19: exploring the role of intercultural dialogue in emerging responses.

Prof Baogang He co-authored a policy piece published in Science: Global citizen deliberation on gene editing

Dr Marian Abouzeid co-authored a commentary published in the Lancet last week on the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon: Lebanon’s humanitarian crisis escalates after the Beirut blast.

Dr Monique Mann (Deakin) and Angela Daly (Strathclyde) edited a special issue of Internet Policy Review on ‘Geopolitics, Jurisdiction and Surveillance.’ It contains 8 articles from international authors, plus an editorial. The special issue is open access and available at this link
