Retirement Congratulations – Beryl Wilson

Dear Colleagues

Long serving professional staff member Beryl Wilson from our Curriculum and Governance team is commencing much deserved retirement next week with her last day to be this Friday.

Beryl commenced in the Faculty of Education in March of 1999 and since then has experienced many changes and continued to support staff and students in all matters related to curriculum.

We wish Beryl a long and happy retirement and thank her for her dedication to the University, Faculty and our students.

Please see a farewell message from Beryl below:

Dear Deakin work-mates

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and appreciations via the digital card, emails, Zoom and phone calls!

Although retirement was a difficult decision for me, I am now looking forward to it with gusto

Deakin has been an inspiring place to work and with amazing people to meet.  It has overflowed with learning opportunities and support to progress for which I will be forever grateful. It has been a privilege to be a small cog in the wheel of Deakin’s success over my 21 years

Thanks for the friendships!  Best wishes to you all and keep safe,  Beryl

Regards

Matt
