Diamond journals focus on serving the needs of their research community rather than generating profit from the publishing business model. Most publishers allow authors to make the <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">accepted manuscript (AM) <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">or<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> author\u2019s accepted manuscript (AAM) <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">version of an article open access in an institutional repository, sometimes after an embargo period. The AM is the version that has been peer reviewed and accepted for publication but not yet typeset or formatted by the publisher. This is an easy and <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">free<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> way to make subscription access articles openly available after publication.<\/span><span
