These self-paced modules are designed to help students build essential academic skills, from navigating Library services to finding quality resources for their assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Developed in D2L, the modules can be easily embedded into your unit site, giving students timely Library support whenever they need it throughout the trimester. They support students in navigating key discovery platforms, including Library Advanced Search and EBSCOhost databases.<\/p>\n<p>The key benefits of the Library Introductory Modules include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adaptable across disciplines and year levels<\/li>\n<li>Suitable as standalone resources or to complement in-class Library sessions<\/li>\n<li>Scaffolded, step-by-step learning with multimodal content and interactivity<\/li>\n<li>Designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind<\/li>\n<li>Seamless D2L integration for a smooth student both online and on campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ideal for both first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students who are new to the Library.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Module 2: Finding scaffolded module includes three topics that will help students build their digital literacy skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan your search: Learn the steps to structure an academic search using a search planner<\/li>\n<li>Run and refine your search: Develop effective searching skills through Library Advanced Search and databases, including EBSCOhost\u2019s updated platform<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and use resources: Understand how to evaluate and reference resources for their assessments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Designed for first-year undergraduates, but also useful as a refresher for second- or third-year
