Life can be a juggling act. Keeping multiple balls in the air with your home commitments, university studies, and social life, among other things, can be overwhelming and stressful. So it\u2019s important to look after your mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, Deakin Library encourages you to take a paws in your day and stop by to see our visiting therapy dogs. They love pats and their handlers love conversation.<\/p>\n

Bookings not required, just drop-in \u2013 smiles guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Burwood Campus<\/h3>\n

Come and meet dogs Bailey and Murphy along with their handlers Mel and Diane on Monday 31 July from 12\u20131pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Warrnambool Campus<\/h3>\n

The loveable Tucker will be visiting along with his handler Barbara on Tuesday 1 August from 1\u20132.30pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why therapy dogs?<\/h3>\n

Evidence suggests that interacting with therapy dogs can help to provide comfort, reduce stress and ease anxiety.
