OER are educational materials that are made available under an open licence that can be used, adapted and shared at no cost. Students can freely access the materials and retain copies, which makes them some of the most useful and valuable resources around.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2021, the grant program has supported a range of projects from across the faculties. These include the replacement of costly textbooks in science and business management, the development of OER including <a href=\"https:\/\/oercollective.caul.edu.au\/historical-thinking-for-senior-secondary-students\/\">Historical thinking for senior secondary students: A collection of teaching and learning activities 2022<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/oercollective.caul.edu.au\/espanol-down-under\/\">Espa\u00f1ol down under: Spanish for Australia and New Zealand<\/a> and a Business Finance textbook in use by students this trimester. Resources are soon to be released for workplace negotiation, mathematics and education along with video resources for soil testing and engineering career education.<\/p>\n<p>Applications were called for the 2023 Open Educational Resources Grant Program and we are excited to congratulate those now involved in the program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Erin Hawley (Arts and Education)<\/li>\n<li>Ramon Lopez Castellano and Fanny Lucia Rios Rodriguez (Arts and Education)<\/li>\n<li>Hoa Nguyen (Business and Law)<\/li>\n<li>Paulina Fishman (Business and Law)<\/li>\n<li>Patricia Corbett (Science, Engineering and Built Environment)<\/li>\n<li>Ellen Moon, Matt Jennings and Rob McHenry (Science, Engineering and Built Environment)<\/li>\n<li>Natalie Gasz (Science, Engineering and Built Environment)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested to learn more about finding OERs and using them in your teaching?
