Want to hone your library research skills? Love a good word game or want to show off your cryptic clue-solving skills? This is the event for you!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We’re inviting Deakin students to participate in our scavenger hunt, which kicks off at 9am today (21 June)! You can register and participate anytime over the next couple weeks, through 5 July.  <\/p>\n

\u200bHere’s what you can win:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/a><\/p>\n

The lucky winner of our Scavenger Hunt will win this beautiful, limited edition copy of the Grimm’s Fairy Tales by the Folio Society<\/a>. Valued at $120<\/strong>, this is a prize you don’t want to miss a chance of winning!<\/p>\n

Here’s how it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Scavenger Hunt is powered by an app called ActionBound. You can download it on your smart device here<\/a> before the event itself.<\/p>\n

The hunt runs over the inter-trimester break online. You’ll have until 11:59pm on Sunday 11 July to finish the hunt, so you can make sure you’re happy with your answers.<\/p>\n

This event is open to all Deakin students, but DUELS members get discounted tickets (see below for more info).<\/p>\n

The winner will be contacted before our Word & Board Game event on Monday 26 July.<\/p>\n

The scavenger hunt is broken into three parts<\/h3>\n

Part 1: Library Scavenger Hunt<\/strong><\/p>\n

This part of the hunt is designed to show you hidden gems around the Deakin Library site to help with your studies in the future. Take a look around beforehand to get your bearings for a head start.<\/p>\n

Part 2: Puzzles & Riddles<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love a good word game or want to show off your cryptic clue-solving skills? You’ll love this section of our Scavenger Hunt! Expect logic puzzles, find-a-words, and cryptic clues ahead.<\/p>\n

Part 3: Around the House<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this section, you’ll have to search your own house based off clues or instructions. Fair warning: <\/strong>you’ll have to get a bit creative with some of the answers here. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Parts 1 & 2 are points-based, but Part 3 will be marked by an impartial judge with a good sense of humour.<\/p>\n

Best of all, you can do the whole thing from the comfort of your own home! This event is open to members from all campuses. <\/strong>\ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n
