What you need to know about changes to the A–Z Journals page

Deakin Library is making an important update to improve how you access electronic journals. From 17 November, our listing of electronic journals will move to a new platform, and this means some changes to the A–Z Journals and Newspapers page on the Library website. This change will not affect the content of the journals themselves.

What’s changing?

The A–Z Journals interface will transition to Publication Finder, a tool many of our clients may already be familiar with. Publication Finder offers a streamlined way to search and browse journals by title, making it easier to find what you need quickly.

Why the change?

This update ensures that our journal access remains reliable and user-friendly. Publication Finder provides enhanced functionality and a consistent experience across platforms, supporting better discovery of resources.

What you’ll see

The A–Z Journals page will look different, reflecting the new interface. A notice is already in place on the current page to give users early access to Publication Finder. You can check it out now.

When will it happen?

The new interface will go live on 17 November. We’re working closely with the Experience Design team to make sure the transition is smooth and that the website updates are clear and helpful.
