Did you know that Library Search has a really useful recommendation tool called ‘You May Also Like’? This might be one of the best kept secrets on our library website, but not for long!
Your library is always working with students and staff to help make the Library Search interface more useful and effective. We don’t want to clutter your screen with information that isn’t useful, but we do want you to know about the tools we think will help you most.
One of the new ways we have improved Library Search is by adding a tool that highlights similar resources under your search results. You May Also Like appears on the detailed record page of most items, and it provides links to other resources you might want to explore, based on the subject or topic.
We already know that students who have used this tool love it, so we want to make sure you have a chance to try it for yourself. The next time you’re researching for an upcoming paper or assignment, scroll down to the You May Also Like section under a selected item to find other resources that may be relevant to your research.
