Subject-specific guides to help you research

Whether you’re in your first year or doing a postgraduate degree, it’s not uncommon to find yourself stuck when it comes to finding relevant sources for your research. The library provides access to millions of texts, videos, articles, journals and more – so how do you narrow those down to find what’s right for you?

That’s where our subject-specific Resource Guides come in. Expert librarians across all four faculties have put together a one-stop-shop of key links and databases for the major subject areas in the University. These Resource Guides are regularly updated and tailored for your area of study, so you’ll find only the most relevant information.

The Resource Guides page was recently updated to make it even easier for you to find what you need – make sure you check it out! Start with your faculty, and you can narrow it down to subject area from there.

Looking for help with your study or research skills? On this page, you can also find our Study and research guides that cover a wide range of topics for all students.

For example:

No matter what or where you study, the library’s Resource Guides will help you set an excellent, reliable foundation for your research.

As always, if you have any questions that need a more personalised response, we encourage you to get in touch with your Liaison Librarian. You can find them by faculty using the links below:
