Stories of inclusive teamwork: ‘Communication and Teamwork Skills to Support Neurodiversity’ spotlight and podcast episode
The Library is delighted to share the release of its newest podcast episode: Siva Krishnan’s OER Story: Communication and Teamwork Skills to Support Neurodiversity. The episode features stories shared by Deakin academic Siva Krishnan about his experience of co-authoring Communication and Teamwork Skills to Support Neurodiversity with Teagan Menhenett and Nick Milne. Siva’s stories touch on his experiences of collaborating with a student as co-author, why student-collaboration was important to him, the impact the OER has had on him as an educator, and the impact the OER is having beyond Deakin.
The OER was published in 2025 and is designed to support the neurodiverse student body with communication and teamwork skills. We celebrate Siva and his team for their commitment to openness, collaboration, and inclusive education and for making Communication and Teamwork Skills to Support Neurodiversity freely available to all. We invite you to explore Communication and Teamwork Skills to Support Neurodiversity resource and share your reflections with the authors.
