Reimagine! New ways with literature
The Children’s book council of Australia (CBCA) Victoria branch held a state conference targeting educators. The aim of the conference was to delight attendees with new ideas about how they might deliver literature and offer practical suggestions of activities to use with students. We were asked to take Lance Balchins magnificent books, Mechanica and Aquatica, and display them in such a way that would inspire students to reimagine the illustrations and engage their imaginations.
Purpose: To educate participants of the CBCA conference.
Primary target audience: CBCA conference attendees
Secondary target audience: All Deakin students & staff and the Greater Geelong community
