Library hours during the upcoming holidays
It’s been an amazing year – and an amazing decade – for Deakin Library. We had more than 2,727,000 visits across our campuses this year, making us once again the busiest building on campus. We love being your second home. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your success in 2019!

If you’re wondering what our hours are during the upcoming holiday period, you can check the details for your campus below or by viewing our library hours webpage. We encourage you to use the holiday Uni closure as an opportunity to relax, reset and get ready for a great new year!
Burwood Library
The library will close at 11.59pm on Friday 20 December and reopen at 7.45am on Thursday 2 January.
Warrnambool Library
The library will close at 8pm on Friday 20 December and reopen at 7.30am on Thursday 2 January.
Waterfront Library
The library will be open 24 hours and staffed by security from Saturday 21 December through Monday 23 December. Access will be via Deakin Card only.
We will close at 11.59pm on Monday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Thursday 2 January.
Waurn Ponds Library
The library will close at 6pm on Friday 20 December and reopen at 8.30am on Thursday 2 January.
The 24-hour learning space will remain open throughout the holiday closure period.
