Once you’ve logged in, you’ll automatically be taken to the Borrow tab. There are three tabs you can choose from:

  1. Account
  2. Borrow
  3. Reservations

1. Account

This is where you’ll find a list of items you have on loan.

You can renew these by tapping the renew button to the right of the item.

A successful renewal will be indicated by a green tick:

An unsuccessful renewal will be indicated by a red cross and a message inviting you to discuss the details with library staff.

Unsuccessful renewal: please see library staff

Note: items that have been borrowed that day cannot be renewed. Remember, many library items renew automatically four days prior to the due date, providing no one else has requested them.

2. Borrow

When you’re ready to check out a library item, select ‘Borrow Book’. If you haven’t already, you will need to allow the app to access your camera. Then, scan the barcode of the library item.

A successful loan will be indicated by a green tick.

To borrow another item, tap ‘Borrow More’ and scan the next barcode.

Note: it may take a few seconds for the items just borrowed to appear in the list of items in the Account tab.

3. Reservations

This is where you’ll find the status of all the holds and requests on your account. Reservations that are ready for pickup will show as Available in the list. Holds that are yet to be filled will show as Unavailable.
