Access e-journal PDFs and complete issues through BrowZine
Library Search now offers a new feature: direct access to PDF Full Texts from BrowZine. This means more information is just one click away! Like other PDF Full Text links, BrowZine links appear under the resource in your search results, and on the detailed record page.
To simplify the search experience, we’ve customised the display to present only the best PDF link, so your way to a quality PDF Full Text is clear and efficient.
Additionally, if you would like to view articles that appeared in the same issue, you can do this now with View Complete Issue links. Users who have tested this feature out say it appeals to them because it’s useful to search articles from the same issue when looking for related resources.
If you haven’t heard of BrowZine, it is a fantastic online database and app that allows you to access a broad range of e-journals in one dynamic interface. You can log in through the Deakin Library databases page or enter your Deakin credentials in the mobile app to browse and start saving journal articles for your research.
If you’d rather stick to Library Search on our website, our search results have links directly to BrowZine when you find a resource that is available in the database. This gives you quick, easy access to where the journal is located on BrowZine.
BrowZine PDF Full Text and View Complete Issue links were added to Library Search in late June. Give it a try for yourself, and make sure you test out BrowZine’s features that allow you to bookmark, select favourite journals, set up alerts and more.
