The Real Lecture series is a group of student organised lectures from prominent local and international architects that run in Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 in the School of Architecture and Built Environment. The lectures aim to provide a discussion of the possibilities of architecture and the professional role of the architect. The series encourages the students to take a critical position in current architectural discourse. They also provide an opportunity to hear from practising architects, promoting awareness of the realities of practice. The lectures are FREE and open to the public.
