In May Deakin was once again a proud sponsor of the biennial City of Whitehorse Built Environment Awards. This year School of Architecture and Built Environment senior lecturer Dr Beau Beza gave a presentation on ‘Good Design and Sustainability’ after which he presented the ‘Sustainability Award’ to the recipient selected by the City of Whitehorse.
The Built Environment Awards presented an excellent opportunity to promote the School to attendees from architecture, design and construction firms in the local area and to celebrate the value of good design and creative thinking by show casing the best in design and environmental sustainability in the built environment in the City of Whitehorse.
