A whole-class activity involving the breeding and care of stick insects. Students were provided with stick insect eggs of a number of different species. They researched the habitat requirements of the stick insects and maintained their environment for six months as the insects hatched and grew to maturity. The insects shown in this clip are fully grown and, as you can see in this clip, are quite mobile.
