In this video clip, students are investigating small animals in the local riverway. They are using nets to collect, investigate and identify the types of animals which live in the waterway. Students visit the local waterway on a regular basis, so are able to see changes which occur across the weeks, months and the year. This links with biological science as students observe the ecological changes and their effects on local river fauna and flora.
